    Box Tops Back to School Drawing

    Thanks to General Mills and Walmart, every Walmart-exclusive Box Tops Certificate that is clipped and collected until Nov. 2, 2016 earns our school a change to be one of 20 winners of 50,000 Bonus Box Tops.

  • Instrumental Music Lessons

    Mr. Sullivan will be back this year offering instrumental music lessons to students in grades 1-8. This is the time to register your child.

  • No School Friday, Oct. 7th & Monday, Oct. 10th

    There will be NO school for ALL students on Friday, Oct. 7th due to a Teacher In Service Day and on Monday, Oct. 10th in observance of the Columbus Day Holiday.

  • Basketball Programs

    Basketball Programs

    Boys’ Jr. Varsity is open to HSS students in grades 4 through 6. J.V. practices will begin on Monday, Sept. 19th so please register early.   • After School Karate Program Is Back

    After School Karate Program Is Back

    This fall we are offering a Karate program after school for students in grades 1 thru 5. Mr. Miller, the Head Instructor of Traditional Okinawan Karate will provide the classes.
    Classes will be held on Wednesdays for five weeks beginning Oct. 5th and continuing on Oct. 12th, Oct. 19th, Oct. 26th and Nov. 2nd. Classes will be held from 3:15 to 4:15 pm and the cost is $40.

    Celebrating the Life of Sister Johanna Rado

    Sr. Johanna Rado, 91, from Holy Spirit Convent, Pequannock, NJ, entered eternal life on Monday, August 8, 2016, in St. Joseph Hall, Villa Walsh, Morristown, N.J.

    The wake and Mass of Christian burial for Sr. Johanna Rado will be held on Thursday, August 11 in the St. Lucy Chapel, Villa Walsh, 455 Western Avenue, Morristown, NJ.

    The Prayer Gathering will begin at 2:00PM, with Fr. John Tarantino presiding, and will be followed by the wake. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 4:00PM with Fr. Al Lampron presiding. Interment will follow the liturgy at the Ave Maria Cemetery. All are welcome and encouraged to remain for the repast at Villa Walsh to commemorate and celebrate Sr. Johanna’s friendship, her love of God and His church, and her life of selfless, exemplary service in the Catholic faith.

    Just a reminder that students in grades K thru 8 should be doing their summer reading and the required reports which should be brought in the first day of school. Please call the school if your child does not have the reading list for his/her grade.

    Holy Spirit Annual Walkathon – June 1st

    The students of Holy Spirit School will be participating in a Walk-A-Thon on Wednesday, June 1st (with a rain date of Thursday, June 2nd) in an effort to raise money for one of our school family members, Liam Bolan. Liam is a Kindergarten student here at Holy Spirit who has been battling a rare disease which has caused him to miss a majority of his Kindergarten experience.
