The students of Holy Spirit School will be participating in a Walk-A-Thon on Wednesday, June 1st (with a rain date of Thursday, June 2nd) in an effort to raise money for one of our school family members, Liam Bolan. Liam is a Kindergarten student here at Holy Spirit who has been battling a rare disease which has caused him to miss a majority of his Kindergarten experience. Due to this situation, Liam and his family have spent many nights in the hospital praying that things would begin to look up for this strong five year old. Although, Liam is now home, he is still unable to attend school or participate in regular activities like a regular five year old should. As his family struggles to come to terms with this devastating illness which has affected their son, they are being suffocated by medical costs. These costs continue to mount, as they continue to find care for their son. We as a school community are coming together to assist this family with these medical costs. All of the walk-a-thon proceeds will go directly to the Bolan Family. As a Holy Spirit Family we ask that each of us continue to pray for Liam and the entire Bolan Family.
