Thank you for your questions at last week’s Home School Meeting concerning when to keep your child home.  A fever is considered 100 degrees or higher, your child can return to school when his/her fever has been gone for 24 hours without medication (eg. Tylenol, Advil, etc.)

Returning to school too soon may slow your child’s recovery process and expose others unnecessarily to illness.  The 24 hour rule also applies to vomiting, diarrhea, conjunctivitis and strep throat – time your child needs to be on antibiotics.

Gr. 5-8 Basketball Students still need to stop by nurse’s office for date of last physical on file if they have not done so already.

Thank you,
